Steven Finn supports Andrew Strauss as the Test captain – Cricket News Update
England’s lanky fast bowler, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ST-Finn-c2566, is happy with his progress in international cricket since the last six months and is now geared up to cement his place in the English team in all  three formats of the game.
The 23-year-old cricketer made his Test debut in 2010 against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 and did well at the start of his career. However, the tall fast bowler lost form, because of which he was dropped from the national team.
Finn made a comeback in England’s limited-overs team for its tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 last year, and since then he has done exceedingly well, even on flat batting tracks.
The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE), and picked up 13 scalps in only four One Day Internationals.
Historically, most of the English fast bowlers have struggled in the sub-continent, but Finn has turned out to be an exception, and according to many, is destined for greatness.
Finn shared that it was extremely satisfying to have performed in conditions supporting batsmen, and that he wants to continue improving his game further. While talking about his home ground, Lord’s, where he plays most of his County cricket, Finn said that
the slope at the historic cricket ground complicates matters for bowlers, and the only way around it is practice.
Finn said, "I enjoyed my tours away from home, and I feel like I did myself justice. My game has come on a fair bit and I hope to see it grow more. Lord's is a tricky place to bowl if you haven't bowled there for a little while. It can take a bit of getting
used to.”
The lanky fast bowler also backed http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013’s Test captain for the coming season.
"He is England captain for a reason. He deals with these situations very well. It won't have bothered him too much that he didn't get any runs in that first match. He is not out of nick," he added.
England's next assignment in international cricket is the Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 at home, which is going to start on the 17th of May, 2012 at Lords.
