Steven Gerrard to start against Manchester United, hints Kenny Dalglish – EPL News
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has hinted that the Reds influential skipper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196 will start against Manchester United as the Scotsman has asserted that the English international is at the peak of his fitness.
Gerrard was out of action since March and was ruled out for more than six months after undergoing surgery for his groin injury. However, the English international showed impressive recovery and was expected to return before the start of the current campaign.
However, the English midfielder suffered a set-back in his recovery process in August, which delayed his return. Gerrard made his long awaited return last month, however, the 31-year-old has yet to start this season.
The Liverpool skipper has given only three substitute appearances so far this season and it was reported that the midfielder will be again benched against Manchester United as he has to regain his full fitness.
