I was offered a trade today.

From me:

-Mark Bulger

-Calvin Johnson

-Steven Jackson

From Him:

-Jay Cutler

-Derrick Mason

-LaDainian Tomlinson

Does this seem like a decent trade?

  1. I would take that trade. LT and the Chargers have the second easiest schedule this year so LT should have a big year.

  2. yes. your getting LT. nuff siad.

  3. Hmmm.

Well, you are taking two downgrades (at QB and WR) to upgrade LT.

I do like Jay Cutler very much, and he'll be even better this year with his diabetes under control.

Derrick Mason is a major downgrade.  Calvin Johnson has a bright upside, and is not 67 years old.

LT is a crown jewel, but he's not the same LT that set the NFL rushing record.

Steven Jackson was hurt last year, so your tolerance for risk has to be considered.

The one thing I like about your players now is the "double-dip" between Bulger and Jackson.  That powered my team to a title two years ago.  Jackson caught 80 balls.

It's not a bad deal, but I don't like Mason.  You might see if he'll sweeten the pot.

  4. Jackson not cause im a ram fan but beacuse he needs a big year its his contract year if he doesnt sign a new one in these upcoming weeks then he has to have a big year and he has more heart for the game....

  5. I would say that trade comes out about even. I would try to get a better reciever than Mason, but every other part is good. LT is obviously an upgrade, QB is a downgrade, but Bulger is injury prone, and Cutler is young and has all the tools to become a big time QB If he won't give u a better reciever in place of Mason then accept this one anyway.
