Do you think that Steve Francis now removed from his dark middle career, has a legit shot @ WCF with this squad.

Do you think he can out perform Rafer Alston IN TRAINING CAMP to ge the starting spot.

  1. It all depends on how he approaches it.  If he decides that he doesn't need to score and play some kind of And1 game and alters it and truly attempts to be a pass-first point guard instead of what made him famous as a combo guard then he can make it back.  And at this point of his career he and alston will be interchangable now that Artest will be joining the team.

  2. no, francis is done and hes not franchise anymore much like marbury is not starbury.

if somehow francis gets 100% healthy and back to his old form, i think they would have him on the bench to play the 2.  skip is an average point guard, and is a better defender and 3 point shooter than francis.

you knew players like francis would have his career cut short, hes way too explosive for his size and look what happened, injuries got to him big time.

  3. idk.  I havnt seen him play in a couple of years.  He used to be awesome but who knows now.

  4. Kobe > MJ: go get laid... may be you are too young to get some... my bad.

To answer the question: I think Alston will keep it.

  5. RAFER ALSTON SHOULD NOT BE ON A PRO BASKETBALL TEAM! HE IS A GLOABTROTTER AT BEST!

  6. I agree that Stevie Franchise should transform into more a radiator than a penetrator, as I think he is good enough to be a great passer. But again he is still a more reliable scorer and defender (well he is above average in general) than "the Ultimate Partner of Hot Sauce" in Skip to My Lou.

In a training camp scrimmage mode, my prediction is Skip to My Lou wins, but it will go to Stevie Franchise should the offense runs much smoother with him on the floor and a higher team FG%.
