Stevie is a aging but established former champ, Paris is 18-0 with 12 KO's and has a story right out of a movie script following him into professional boxing. Who takes this one?

Many older fighters did well lately so I will take a chance and say Stevie Johnston by unanimous decision.

I didnt realise Stevie johnston was still fighting and i guess he must be quite old now. But these cagey old pros can often be a shock for up and coming boxers who are used to getting there own way against one dimention opposition. A step up in class at this stage will often make or break a fighter. I havent seen Vernon Paris fight and so cant really comment on him, but Johnston was a very good fighter and this fight could be the making or breaking of Paris.

Ive heard a lot of good things about this Paris kid, i think this could be a case of them stepping him up but against a tricky old pro who will teach him a lot, should be a good stepping stone for him.

Looks like Paris might of been pulled out for some reason though Blog, not sure why but when i have tried to check out the fight card his name isnt on there.
