I had a name tag on my shirt and accidentally put it into the washing machine before removing the sticker, and now there is a sticky residue on the shirt. Does anyone know how to remove this?

  1. If you an get some baby wipes and rub them on the sticky spot, that should remove it.

    good luck

  2. rub really hard go to a cleaner

it will come out i pulled a prank on our teacher before we put tape on the chair lightly so it would get on her pants she washed them and they were stuck it was hillarious

PS it was last year she dont know yet!!!!!!!!!!

  3. WD-40 will take off most petroleum based adhesives.Just spray a little on the residue and blot with a clean towel. repeat till its all off. Now.. wash it it again. residue should be all gone. I have use WD-40 for taking off all kinds of sticky stuff from all kinds of surfaces. Every home should have a can.

    (No... I don't work for WD-40)

  4. I would try some rubbing alcohol... Then rub a good stain remover over it and then rewash the item.
