Stickers for kayaks???

Question

Is there a way of making stickers waterproof for my kayak,

I would prefer not to buy special waterproof stickers because i expect they are more expensive and not the kind of design i would like :(

im looking for an inexpensive way of waterproofing them (i heard PVA glue is good, but im not sure), and also it must not damage the kayak body (obviously :S)...

PVA glue is the way to do it so! Stick the sticker on then apply a layer of glue, let it dry, apply another layer and so on until it looks coated sufficiently.  I'd buy a spare sticker too - knowing how much my kayak gets bashed, then I'll just replace it when it looks tacky!

Pva glue won't damage a plastic kayak but I'd be very careful if you even think of using something else!  Good luck!

pva works pretty nice. it'll make a good seal over the sticker and dries nice and clear.

you could also get a clear film and stick it on.

alternatively you can ring up manufacturers and ask them to send you a few :)
