Stiff billets on a new county saddle? Any one else have this problem

i got my new county innovation in the mail yesterday and i am very pleased with the saddle but i noticed the billets are very stiff. They were not was i was expecting from county quality. I plan to oil them but i was just suprised. Has any one else had this problem.

just work them and bend them!

I had the same problem with my english saddle. Just do the girth up on the saddle and eventually they will soften. And oil them regularly so that the leather doesn't break when you do the girth up.
