Still a little confused with how gas companies charge price per gallon?

Question

I remember are all time high was 4.11 a gallon when the price per barrel was at 147 dollars a barrel

now at 111 dollars a barrel it's at anywhere from 3.46 to 3.69 a gallon...

I am curious what was the price per gallon when it first hit 111 dollars a barrel

I think we at the low 3 dollars to max high as $3.25 a gallon not the mids

I am still confused with how this is all working
