I have to be honest, I'm still going to eat tomato's. I'm not one of those people that say "it can't happen to me". But this is one time when I'm still gong to eat them. I brought them Thursday, when did the out break start?? I ate tomato's 2 days in a row, and I have a sandwich with tomato's today for lunch. I can't take them off, it wouldn't be the same without them.

  1. I am.  I only purchase organic produce, and the tomatoes involved have been conventionally grown.

  2. Yes, I will still eat them after I cook them.

  3. yes get them.  They taste wonderful.  Your odds are good to never to come into contact with the bad ones and even if you do, you will just get a little sick, take some time off work, everyone will feel bad for you, and you can sue them for truck loads.

  4. I will too.

  5. Just buy the safe ones.   I purchased organic greenhouse grown ones from mexico and they are fine.

  6. I think it is a huge over-reaction, anyway. There have been less than 150 cases of salmonella -- out of HOW MANY people who eat tomatoes???

Wash them with cold water and mild dish soap before you eat them - or peel the skins off.

I'm like you - I'm not slowing down, either!

  7. Yeah I still will life is always going to be full of unsavory things you have to deal with you just gotta keep on living

  8. You are worrying too much you will be fine as long as you wash them really good.

  9. that's why i grow my own, much cheaper too!

(i would still eat store bought as well)
