Still no friendss help please!!?

Question

It my 3rd day of high school and I still have no friends at all.

I dont know anyone at all and I need to make some friends

any help.

Im sitting alone at lunch and it supperrrr embarasing.

Give someone a sincere compliment. Keep a smile on your face. Be a person someone would like to be around. Don't complain. Don't talk about others behind their backs. Friends will come :)

ok first of all What's there in a name Your a geek and go find something else to do with your time. I have sorta the same problem Just start talking to people in class about music and then see what they like to do for fun and then see if you can hang out sometime.. I wish you the best of luck =)

yeah,I just started High School as well.sucks don't it?anyway,how I made friends,I just went up to their table and asked if i could sit with them.they said yes and then the rest is history.so perhaps you could do that maybe?or maybe you can talk to people in your classes,get to know them better,and friendships will develope from there and yeah.hope I helped.good luck =D

Dont worry its only been 3 days and thats not so bad. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer. If you are waiting for ppl to walk up to you and

start making conversation, you might have to wait a while.

Take initiative and start talking to someone. If you fail then dont

be discouraged and think that no one will be your friend.

There are probably over a thousand ppl in your school and I bet

you could get a long with a lot of them, you just need to stumble

upon them by meeting different ppl.

Wait till you have a group project or something and then you get

a good chance of mingling with them.

If you talk with ppl but dont hit it off or become friends it doesnt really

matter. Think of it as now 1 more person knows who i am and knows

i exist here. Once you make a friend they will most likely introduce

you to their friends.

Take initiative though, be outgoing and friendly.

well wut i did is try 2 start a conversation with the people in ur classes lyke asking about wut u guys r learning. Start slow and try 2 build up courage 2 talk 2 more people. somewhere u will just click w/a person. if u wanna talk more u can e-mail me or sumthing

hey hey babycakes(i like the name i call one of my girls by that) anyways talk to the people u sit with in class generally they will want to talk to someone other rather than listen to the teacher also u can find other people like u that hangout alone

Awww, that's really sad. I'm sorry.

Try going up to people in your classes and ask them what classes they have, just be friendly and nice, ask them if theyre on a school team, compliment her clothing, make jokes about the teacher, etc, if you still don't have any friends in lunch, ask if your guidance counciler would need help, and you could work for him/her :)

aww dont worry. try joining some clubs or going to some afterschool stuff. maybe you can try talking to someone in a bunch of your classes? when i had the same situation in 7th grade i just started talking to a random girl and we started talking everyday and now we are best friends. a conversation can go a long way.

Just act cool.. like your the coolest and smartest out of all of them.. be like "move your A$$!" you will get noticed eventually :)  Also participate in class, that can also help.

have you tried talking to people?  Saying hello and smiling?  Joing a group or sport or club?

enjoy everything that your doing. (or try to)

look like your independant.

always look your best.

be confident.

join some clubs, sports, stuff like that.

-ur/their interest

-what classes they have next/ who is the teacher

-sports u/they play or like

-what they did this summer/ if they had fun

-have they seen any new movies/ wats their fav movie

-COMPLIMENT THEM!!! but dont over do it :)

i no the feelin. i have noooooo classes with any of my friends this year. so i have to make new friends to hang out with in class until lunch time when i can c my old friends.

Just start talking to people between classes, maybe someone by your locker, or sit by someone at lunch.  Just don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself, whats the worst that could happen if you are friendly to others?  If someone says they don't want to be your friend then its their loss.

see if there are some clubs u can sign up for at school like in the hall way or the office i think they have flyers for clubs,maybe the cheerleading squad,chess club something like that or try out for theater or like at lunch u could sit in the library or something,good luck
