  1. Heck yes.  I have medication from the 1950's and most of it is still good!

    In addition, the box or glass should be marked as to the date limit. Try to find it.

  3. yes, you're fine. it isn't food.  

  4. most medications have a shelf life of one year.  Use only if it was prescribed for you, and only use for the purpose it was intended.
