He went straight through 4 years college then med school. It seems odd that he is still paying off loans. Is this normal?

  1. Is he only paying the minimum repayments per month? This will really drag out the repayment process especially if he's also paying interest.

  2. It's possible if he took out a loan for school and living expenses and is only paying the minimum.  He should be paying more to be done with it.

  3. he did go to med school, so yes. its very expensive, but he should be at the end of the paying process. How much did he take out?
