Terri I don't know what advice was given to you previously, but there are a lot of dedicated people on here so I'm sure it was accurate and helpful. What have you done so far to search? Have you:

1.) Registered at Soundex?

2.) Registered at the database at adoption.com? There are 49 males born in PA in 1981 there now. You should search there and if the person you're looking for isn't listed, you should register:

3. Reviewed the Pennsylvania laws?

4. Joined a Pennsylvania-specific search group?

These four things are really necessary to start a search. Can you tell us a little more about what you've already done search-wise?
