Still worried? for no reason?

okay. so last month a suspected i was pregnant. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. i got my period.I had a regular 5 day period with heavy bleeding the first 2 days. I was so scared over what had happened that i talked about it with my mom and i went to the gyno to go on birth control. my gyno did a regular exam (feeling around, looking inside, and a pap smear). She gave me birth control to start when i got my next period. Me and my boyfrined haven't had s*x or done anything that could get me pregnant since then. I am still worried i could be pregnant? Wouldn't the gyno have been able to tell by the exam if i was pregnant (probably would have been 5 weeks along at the time). I think i am overreacting and just being a headcase over it. please, serious answers only. thank you

Your cervix would have been closed.  So no your not pregnant.

Yes, the ob can tell just by looking at you during the exam whether or not you are pregnant.  Just relax, and learn from your near miss!

I don't think you're pregnant especially if you got your period norm and then haven't had s*x since then ..there's no way you could be pregnant. You're giving yourself a stress ...so please stop dwelling on it ..ain't healthy

Yes the GYN would have been able to tell that you were pregnant. It sounds like you aren't.Take a deep breathe and try to relax a little.
