Stimulus Check?

I filed a 2007 tax return.

I recieved the ECONOMIC STIMULUS PAYMENT NOTICE on 03/14/08. It says *All individuals receiving payments will receive a notice and additional information shortly before the payment is made.*

My stimulus check was supposedly sent on the 6th of June but I still haven't received the notice yet. Does that mean I won't get a Stimulus Check?

When did you file?  I was supposed to get mine direct deposit in  Mid-May, but I filed my taxes April 14th.  They say if your return was "processed" after April 15th then your checks are pushed back to the end of the line.  That could be a reason for the delay.  I'm not expecting mine until mid July.

Go to www.irs.gov

Click on "when will you get your stimulus payment"

Click on "Economic Stimulus Payment Information Center"

Scroll down click on "where's my stimulus payment"

scroll down and click on "where's my stimulus payment" again and enter your information. If the mail date is close it will tell you how much or none and why. Hope this helps.

Enter the info from your return at http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/ to see if you will get a check and for how much.

If you efiled very close to 4/15, or mailed your return after mid-March, you probably missed this first round of payments but if you are eligible will still get your check, but in late July or in August.  Your return had to be PROCESSED by 4/15 to get it in the first round - see the top line of the published schedule at http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180...

The government is a bit behind on the checks. If you had your refund direct deposit, then you will get it sooner than if you had a paper check. If you had to pay in, you will get a paper check. If you don't get your check within the next 4 weeks, you should check into it, but until then, you'll have to wait.
