Stimulus Checks: I wasnt eligible this year, can I still get one next year when i am eligible??

Question

I was not eligible for the stimulus check, but i will be when i do my taxes this coming year. Are they giving the checks to people who couldnt get them already?

Sort of.  It won't be a separate stimulus check, but if you are eligible next year and didn't get one this year, you'll get a tax break which will give you a bigger refund or let you owe less next year.
