Stimulus check different amount WHY?????????????

ok i checked the website to check the status on my check it's says that i will get 1200 and that it's scheduled to be mail june 13th but when i went on the irs calculator it says that i should get 1800 me and my hubby are only getting 300 each as well as my kids.... it dosen't sound right.. i called the irs and they said that it could be mixed what the h**l does that mean?? two checks?? and i could also get the other 500 in my taxes next year and if that's the case that really SUCKS

Did you file jointly or separately? There have been a lot of mix ups with the checks, if the amount doesn't seem right call the IRS and have them explain how they figured the amounts.

Run through the calculator again to be sure you entered everything correctly.

How old were your kids on 12/31/2007??? They had to be under 17 years old as of that date
