Stimulus check question!?

My wife and I still have not received our stimulus check. We owed money and paid with a check. Does that matter? We filed in early March at HR Block. I checked the website and it said "Information not available". Judging by their chart I should have had something by now, my last two digits in SS# are 12.

I also am the first number on our filing. Does anyone have any answers? Did we get skipped?

Yup, you should have gotten your check by now.  I received a letter telling me how much I was going to get and when just recently....my last digits are 78.  Mid July for me.  I also owed money and payed by check...sent it in April 15th.  So you got a snafu there somewhere.  Go to the IRS site....I think they have a link for questions there.

DJ''s answer is correct. Balance due returns are processed after April 15, so none of them are being sent according to the schedule. It should be soon, though.

Check the IRS website again, it should be working again; apparently their was a problem and it has been corrected.

My understanding is that balance due accounts were being processed last.  It may be that they have not yet processed your return - or have questions on it.  I would wait until the end of July, then call them if you have not heard anything.

Normal return processing time should be 8-12 weeks => the beginning of June.  Because of the rebate being so time consuming, I understand they are behind in processing - say 12-16 weeks - which would be early July for them to get to your return - give them until July 15, then give them two more weeks to actually process the rebate, and I would expect them to have gotten to your rebate by the end of July.
