Stimulus check question???

Does anyone know how long it is from the time you receive your letter saying how much you qualify for to the time you actually receive your check, or in my case a letter saying what they applied the money towards since my husband and I owe back taxes?

I received notification on the 3rd of June that we'd have our check by the 6th of June. It came on the 7th, surprisingly

Thats weird...I owe back taxes and they didnt withhold mine. They told me I was receiving the full amount. By June 13th.

On June 2nd mine said by June 6th it would be mailed, and then I should get it about 3 days after that.

So, I am still waiting. You can go to the stimulus check calendar, its so easy to read.

If they applied your rebate to taxes owed and it was for the entire amount of the rebate you won't get a check.  You can visit http://www.irs.gov for more information.

You will receive your check according to the schedule set down by the IRS. Direct Deposit people get them first. The rest of us have to wait. It goes by the last 3 digits of your SS#.

If they've applied the payment to back taxes you'll probably just have to wait for yet another letter. Or call the IRS.
