Stimulus intensity and stimulus frequency?

What is the difference between stimulus intensity and stimus frequency?

let's say I'm punching you in the arm = stimulus.

if I hit you softly 5 times, but then hit you hard, 5 times,  that's changing the stimulus  INTENSITY

if I hit you once a minute for 10 minutes, and then start hitting you every second, that's changing stimulus  FREQUENCY
