Stimulus payment schedules?

I remember back when this whole thing started. They were saying that the were sending the payments out Monday through Thursday of every week. So, basically they took the amount of rebates that were to be sent out and divided them into 4 batches, one batch per day was sent. Is that still how they are processing this?

They weren't equal batches sent out each day - most still went out on Friday.

If you are wondering when yours will arrive, plan for it to be mailed on Friday and that you'll get it sometime the next week,  Then if you get it earlier you won't be disappointed.

The majority of checks are mailed or direct deposited on Fridays. However, if your return was processed by the newer computer system at the IRS, they're being mailed out daily. Unfortunately, there's no way to know if that's the case.
