Stimulus payments?

Has anyone who was scheduled for a paper check to be mailed july 4th get it early? will they mail it out a day early? or a day later for the holiday? please let me know.... thanks....

First come first serve. For some reason they are typically on top of things for the stimulus checks and will most likely send out as many as they can the day on the 3rd, but will probably not get everyone as they have plenty of things to do. Chances are that some people that have them mailed on the third will get them the same day as the 5th depending on where they live and how efficient their local post office is. Don't worry either way, it's coming.

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule on 7/4 (a legal holiday), you may not get it until early in the week of 7/7.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

Don't worry about it have patience.  It will arrive.  If you don't get it in 20 days then start worrrying.
