Stimulus refund question?

Has anyone received a letter from the IRS stating they would receive their check soon and they get their check rigth after they get the letter? the reason i ask is we just got our letter today and the letter was dated on the 23rd and today is the 26th and they say we should get it by the 27th tomorrow and was just wondering how accurate these letters are. any info is helpful thanks.

Well dear i don't think its very accurate because i got my check before i got the letter, so its more of a surprise and the first person to crack wins...lol... just kidding you should have your check on Monday :) happy spending,,

I got my check last Saturday, then got that letter on Monday that it was coming. It's the US government, so who knows.....

It varies for everybody. We got our stimulus letter after we got the payment. I have had many people who get it right after the letter, and some who get it several weeks after, so it really varies. Sorry for the lack of help!

Tomorrow is when it will be mailed by - you will most likely get it next week sometime.

THE ONLY way you'll get it tomorrow is if it was mailed before the 27th,which in most cases they have been mailing out on the date listed on the letters,so it may be mailed out tomorrow and you'll get it a few days later,slim chance you'll get it tomorrow,never know.

I got the letter on the 10th, saying that I'd have it by the 13th - got it on the 13th
