Sting is still the TNA World Heavyweight Champion: TNA iMPACT News
The Flash Borden, Sting, won the Championship match again at Thursday's night TNA iMPACT, on May 5, 2011. The match took place between Sting, Ken Anderson and Rob Van Dam.
Sting defended his championship against Anderson and Bully Ray in the previous week. The World Champion, Sting, smashed the windows of Anderson’s truck previous week. After smashing the windows, he appeared in the ring. Sting also challenged Anderson for
a championship match. Hulk Hogan changed the match and stated that championship match would be played between three rivals, who were Sting, Anderson and his boy Ray. Sting retained the championship. A.J. Style also confronted in the match that cost Ray his
championship title.
On tonight TNA iMPACT, Anderson demanded a rematch while RVD also interrupted. Hogan gave the opportunities to both and set up a championship match again. When the match started, RVD and Anderson double teamed and started beating Sting. Sting recovered and
attacked both with punches and kicks. RVD fastened Sting and left with hard forearms on the mat. Then RVD started beating Anderson and hit a Side Suplex. Anderson nailed RVD and slammed him on the mat. Then he hit the Clothesline on Sting and pinned for two
counts.
The fight continued with punches, kicks and other submissions. Anderson nailed another RVD and hit clotheslines consecutively, but got only two counts. Sting focused on Anderson and hit him with a series of clotheslines. Sting hit Anderson with his finishing
move, Stinger Splash, and then turned to RVD. Sting tried to hit Stinger Splash on RVD also, but RVD pulled referee in the way. The referee got the submission and fell down the floor. RVD hit the clothesline on Sting and then grabbed a steel pipe taking advantage
of no referee.
Sting survived and kicked RVD. Sting grabbed the pipe and hit on RVD. The Sting focused on Anderson and hit him with a Stringer Splash. The referee recovered in those moments. Sting pinned Anderson for three counts. He was again the TNA World Heavyweight
Champion. It was a very exciting match, which took place tonight. The TNA Universe was amused and rated the duel high.
