The non-title bout was part of the main fight card which was headlined by the clash between Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez and though had no title on the line yet was considered as an interesting one because of the opponents’ expertise in totally different
fight tactics.
UFC, Fox network, and Fuel TV have joined hands together and have come up with a plan according to which UFC pay-per-view will be televised by Fuel TV in upcoming seven years. As per the agreement this was Fuel TV’s first show and it looted the hearts and
mind of not only the crowd in the arena but also the fanatics who watched the special edition live on their TV sets.
Each and every main card bout ended in an unprecedented and unexpected way. The same thing occurred with the clash between Stipe and Philip. Both men almost had the same experience but were totally different in their expertise. Stipe, 29, originally hailing
from Croatia and now brawling on behalf of America, had been in a total seven bouts and was still invincible.

since his mixed martial art career kicked off. He had won eight of his total fights and startlingly collected seven of them by submission.
Fries, is infamous in UFC as a submission specialist and therefore the bout was considered a clash between the submission phenom and the KO master. The three-round bout started and shockingly ended in an instant in just the 43rd second of the first round.
The methodology underwent by Stipe showed that he had in the back of his mind this fear that if he gave a split chance to Fries he will take him down by any of his submission tactic.
While standing in the middle of the octagon Miocic commented, “I've got to keep my hands up, I guess. I was fighting his fight. My coach said to fight my fight, and I did. I hit him, and I saw him wobble, and I saw blood and went after him and kept going.”
Stipe after the emphatic win has elongated his win streak to nine and Fries after collecting his career’s first ever loss now stands at eight wins in 10 bouts.
