i have a bag of frozen stir fry vegetables. what are some things i can do w/ them that doesnt take much time?

  1. whip up a couple of eggs and some rice and soy sauce and you will have a fried rice veggie dish

    2 eggs, beaten

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

    4 cups cooked rice

    1-1/2 cups frozen stir-fry vegetable blend

    1/2 cup sliced green onions

    1 garlic clove, minced

    1 cup diced cooked chicken

    3 tablespoons soy sauce

    1 tablespoon chicken broth

    1/2 teaspoon pepper

    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

    4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

    Directions:

    Combine eggs and salt. In a large skillet or wok over medium heat, scramble eggs in 1 teaspoon oil, breaking into small pieces. Remove from skillet and set aside.

        Add remaining oil to skillet. Stir-fry rice over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add vegetables, onions and garlic; stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add chicken; stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until heated through. Combine soy sauce, broth, pepper and ginger. Add to rice; stir to coat. Add bacon and eggs; heat through


  2. Stir fry them with one of the stir fry sauces you can buy at your grocery store and serve over steamed rice.  You can also stir fry chicken breast chunks for a complete meal.  Toss the chicken in a little corn starch before frying it and it retains the juices.

  3. Well, stir-frying doesn't take much time.  You can also microwave them.

  4. Veg green curry

    saute some green curry paste in oil for about 3min, pour in 700ml of coconut milk and 1stp of fish sauce and let it boil for 10min.

    take the pot off the heat and add the veggies. dnt put it back on the stove.

    serve with jasmine rice or phad thai  

  5. Get 1/2 pound of pre-cooked shrimp, stir fry the veggies until almost done, then add the shrimp, and stir them all up. Easy and fast. Forget the microwave; it will make them too limp.
