I bought a plain tshirt and thought of fixing some sequins. I do have a slight knowledge in sewing the sequins but wanted to know whether there are any easy ways to sew them. If any websites are available, it would be helpful !

Tks !

  1. Glue them!  Aleens's fabric glue for stretch fabric. I have use it on many costumes. It is washable. .

If you sew them on it is like sewing a button.

Knot the thread, bring it up through the fabric, in the hole of the sequin and back down through the fabric.

And on to the next sequin. It is a good idea to re knot the thread every now and again. If your thread breaks in the wash all the sequins wouldn't come off.

Putting a dap of Fray Check on your knots will help hold them.

  2. i guess rather than gluing it. it is much safe to sew it to the fabric. tie a knot to the end of the thread, pull through the bottom of the fabric and pull through the sequin and push the needle down the fabric to the other part where the sequin has to be attached.

hope i helped you, hv fun and hope it turns out a masterpiece ;)
