Stivers hackamore?

Any one have any opinions on the Stiver Hackamore?

Great hackamore - wonderful for trail riding or running barrels.  Horses tend to shoulder in with them though, so plan to use a lot of leg.  You will have good control though to stop and turn - they just tend to throw their shoulders into the barrels with them.  Not legal for most western pleasure classes if that's what you're looking for.  Best wishes!

hackamore are good or horses that are fussy with the bit... great for lessons and trails... hacks give good control... i would recomend this to any horse not doing to much.
