Stl files? im looking forward to having a prototype made...?

how can cad files be converted to stl files? who can i talk to, to have the conversions done?

Hi,

I assume that your using a 3D CAD package, If so, you may  be able to save or export an STL file of your model directly from it.

If you can't export a STL file, you may be able to export a STEP or IGES file instead.

A good rapid prototyping bereau should be able to import any of these formats.

Just a quick tip, when you export an STL file, if you get an option, try and use the highest resolution possible, it will give you a better looking model.
