Stock picks in China?

I want to invest in some chinese stocks. I am looking for suggestions in the 1-20 dollar price range. Thanks

  1. I agree with the first answer that you shouldn't be concerned with the price per share.  

    Due to the lack of transparency in China, it can be hard to judge alot of the companys at face value.  Instead, If you want exposure to China, I would recommend the FXI.  It's a Chinese Index ETF.  I think you'll find it to be a more comfortable and rewarding choice.


  2. if you mean <$20 per share, I don't think share price is important. You could look at companies like gushan energy, they have a solid growth and balance sheet, but just diluted their shares.

    I would though be a little carefull, as they have different accounting standards. So maybe you would find it interesting to read a bit about the chineese business climate and tempratue, if you havent allready.
