  1. you can try to contact cuil about venture capitol.

i don't think it is being publicly traded  at this time.

  2. Actually they are the biggest search engine in the world. The woman (Anna Patterson) who created cuil.com and her partners are all former google employees. But what makes her stand out is the fact that she created the technology that we all used in google today... Thats right she created it.

Therefore all though it isnt publicly traded yet? When it does.... Because she said that she was net selling her technology this time around... we should all invest in it!

  3. The company is not public.

They claim to be "the world's biggest search engine" which would be completely false.

If they were public and made this statement, they would be sued by every shareholder and class action attorney for fraud. Not a good way to start your business.

The site didn't even show a return

There are a lot of tiny search engine company's that have been around for years. Google and Yahoo dominate the net in market share. The way they money is by advertising which Google dominates here.

I think  it's neat to have competitors, but I don't think they will material into anything unless they have some unique technology that the majors don't have and they can exploit the technology that intern attracts huge investment capital.

  4. Are you sure that it's even publicly traded yet? Since it's a startup company, it could still be held privately.

  5. It's not a publically traded company. There is no ticker symbol.

In the future you can find symbols by googling:

ticker General Motors (or whatever the company name is.)

  6. Why don't you try using the cuill search engine to find its stock symbol

  7. You cannot buy stock in Cuil.

Cuil is privately held by the developer and her partners.  There have been no plans for going public announced.  It may never happen.  In my opinion, there is a better chance that they will be bought out by someone.
