  1. only the real investor who is invested for a real long term is investing as much he can in the good stocks which will boune back

and i think this is the way to approach it

    regards be a bull always

  2. In stock market one who like to reap the reward must invest in the low index that is now is the best time.the return is based on numbers and how many shares no one hold is determind his future return.now the price is low one can get maximam no of share and when price up he can sold it and gain multy times return

  3. Yes loading up on GE, DIA, value etf's

and for the more risk loving: UYG and 2010 LEAPS on the XLF (i am obviously getting hit hard on these positions, but do expect profitability within a time horizon of one year)

  4. Not many will dare to invest in such rapidly falling markets.  If you are brave enough then you have to invest in small amounts during every such major fall.

  5. Mishra,

Those who follow the wise advise from Legend investors like Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham considering this is the best time to get best shares with low cost. This is the time to have bottom fishing and instead of being sad, an investors should enjoy now.

I even don't know how much shares I bought....

  6. Ditto.

    Kid.

    Candy store.

(Except.  I am not buying financials yet.)

  7. For every share sold in the stock market there is a buyer.  Now, is a good time to buy the blue chip stocks.

A selection from the Nifty or top 100 stocks would do quite well.  In fact, till a while earlier an average investor could not afford them; as they were obviously over-priced.

However, one must keep in perspective that there are various investors both big and small investing in the stock market; and they have their own investment objectives and time horizons.

Even if an investor were to buy during this period of draw down he should be willing to wait before realizing gains from his equity investments.  In fact, he should also be willing to see the prices of his stock positions go further down.  As in a bearish scenario no one knows when the stock market would turn for the better; and frankly there is no bottom to a bear market condition.

Finally, as long as you stick to stocks and not venture into futures and options; you should be okay in the long run.

    Happy investing,

    Akash

  8. If there's a profit to be made I'm playing. I could care less how the market moves as long as it moves. Those who know how to trade make money irregardless of the direction the stock is moving. From where I'm sitting it's a long way to the ground floor and the sky is the limit.

  9. I am.  I feel like a kid in a candy store and everything is on sale.
