Stomach acid coming up, i don't know why.?

Okay, so over the past 3 or 4 days this has happened three times. It just happened about ten minutes ago. So at random times all of a sudden stomach acid comes up into my throat, almost like I'm puking, but I'm not. I think its stomach acid because it burns when it comes up. I have no idea why this is happening.

omg this happens to me too and i hate it!! i dont change my diet though bc i love spicy food. but i do drink milk at least once a day and usually with that spicy dish. bc milk neutralizes acid so its good to drink it. and i hate milk but i use ovaltine and put a tbsp. in the milk and then i just drink it down and since ive been doing that i havent been having that problem. so try it!!

This sounds like GERD, which is what you call acid reflux when it occurs more than 3 times a week. You need to change your diet. Every GERD case is different but in general, avoid alcohol and spicy foods for awhile.

it sounds like acid reflux which is simlar to gerd like the poster above said? i am posting some websites that have help me since i do have acid reflux
