Question:

Stomach cramps or worse???

I have no idea what's wrong with me. For the past 2 days i've had these cramps in my stomach, which I thought at first was ovulation pains (middleschmerz), because I just ended my period a week before this. It's still going, only the pain is focused on my right side, near the bottom of my rib cage. It's not a horribly bad pain, but it's definetly noticeable. Also worth mentioning, for the past couple of weeks i've been getting very disturbed sleep (waking up 4-5 times a night), then waking up with a headache because of it, my diet consists of me being a vegetarian, however a couple of days ago I had some fried foods, dairy and what not. And the "pains" (more like cramps with spasms), make my lower back hurt and feel somewhat gassy. I can't figure out what this would represent, any insight would be helpful. Do you think it's time to go to the doctor?

  1. Sounds like your gallbladder to me. The location you described is where the gallbladder is and my sister had the same problems until she got hers out/ She got to the point of throwing up when she ate. I'd say the fried foods started it and yes, it will cause you back pains. You need an ultra sound of your gallbladder. Go to your Dr. It may be a one time thing but once a gallbladder starts going bad it just keeps getting worse. The stomach cramps may be from the greasy food. Take some GasX for the gassy feeling, it works great.
