Question:

Stomach pains and waking up early?

Please excuse my ignorance if everybody knows the answer to this, but, no matter how little I eat before I go to bed, or no matter if i wait 2-4 hours after i eat dinner before i go to bed, i always get this HUGE acidic, sourly, stomach pain whenever i wake up early. I think it's also my large intestine too: sometimes when i get that pain, i can feel this vertical, ~tubular~ thing harden beneath the left side of my stomach/hip. The pain gets better if i stay in bed and sleep for like a few hours, but when i do eventually wake up, it's till hurting/acidic a bit. I can't go to a doctor, i just moved and my health care account is still being processed. Taking Tums didn't help either.

Any info and help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

  1. You could be dealing with something like acid reflux disease (an example only).

I would recommend having this checked out by a doctor but due to the situation with waiting for your health coverage to kick in I would recommend checking with the city health dept to see if they offer a free health clinic to help evaluate the situation for you.
