Stomach problems after eating? ?

I already asked this but after about an hour only 1 person answered. For about a week I've been having really bad sotmach problems. After I eat ANYTHING I'll get a somtachache, be nauseaus, and get heavy diarrhea. Even if I eat a snack it happens. I'm only concerned because I'm going back to school in a week. The nauseausness isn't constant, but I can't eat anything without all of this happening. Could anyone tell me what's wrong? I don't think I'm lactose intolerant only because I've loved milk and cheese all of my life without any problems. But idk if that can change? Oh and please don't just tell me to see a doctor or to take Tums. I'm 13. thanks.

  1. Yeah, you can become lactose intolerant any time in your life...but if you feel nauseaus and have diarrhea after eating EVERYTHING, you're probably sick.  For a few days, rest and relax, and don't eat anything except toast, crackers, and water.  If you're still getting sick, you do need to go to a doctor.  Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear and I don't blame you, but you're right- school starts in a week and you shouldn't risk feeling sick and having diarrhea in school.

(btw, my mom has been having the same problem for the last 6 days, and she is starting to feel better)

So if I were you, I would just eat light things like toast, get some rest, and hopefully start to feel better in a few days.

  2. you probably have food poisoning, i got that last week from burger king, i felt the same way that you did, at least what you described in the question.

  3. you could have a variety of things. it may just be that you are really stressed and your stomach is reflecting that. Also, have you ever gone over 3 days without eating cheese or milk. after the three days if you eat a piece of cheese and get really sick you will know you are lactose intolerant. one way to fix it though is just to eat a large amount of white carbs and a small amount of fats and veggies. try just cutting down on the cheese and milk.

  4. I'm going to be completely honest with you. It sounds like Crohn's Disease. Those are very similar to the symptoms I had when I was a young teen. It's not the easiest disease to diagnose, so I suggest getting with your parents on this and going to see a G.I. (gastrointestinal specialty doctor) and getting some testing done. Could also be Colitis. The earlier you get it seen to and get medication started, the easier your life will be.

Or you could just have a random bacteria virus that's treated with antibiotics. Either way, go to the doctor.

  5. Since it has been more then a couple of days you need to see a doctor since you are in danger of dehydrating and doing damage to your stomach and intestines. What ever is causing this to happen can start doing more and more damage to you organs and you can have a bad out come. Sorry - time to see a doctor !

  6. Try cutting lactose out of your diet for 2 weeks and see if your symptoms improve.  This may also be some kind of acute infection as well, so keep that in mind.
