Stone Cold Steve Austin to be present at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – Wrestling news
Stone Cold Steve Austin is in no mood to raise h**l in WrestleMania 28’s ring, as he did in 2011.
Sources in the WWE have revealed that Stone Cold Steve Austin has no plans of entering the ring on WrestleMania 28, however he might be present for the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this year.
A source revealed, “If Stone Cold appears at WrestleMania, he certainly isn't expected to do anything in the ring and Austin has not been shy in telling (WWE Chairman) Vince (McMahon) that he has no plans of playing second fiddle to The Rock in any way.”
There were rumours of Austin appearing in the ring for a special match, as host or as special referee. However, the rattlesnake has put down these claims by saying he has no plans of being in the ring. Another source revealed, “Austin has a plan, and it
doesn't include being a supporting character in a Rock starring role.”
Stone Cold Steve Austin is among Vince McMahon’s favourite men and he is always present at most of the main events to add charm to the vicinity. Last year, he adopted the role of a special referee in the match between Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. His iconic
move of smashing beer cans to celebrate his victory or success has always been a crowd entertainer. Even though he has been retired from professional wrestling for more than 8 years now, his appearance is still solid enough to shake the ground. He is one of
the most cherished superstars of the WWE universe.
Steve Austin hails from the USA. He started his professional wrestling career in 1989 under his real name Steven James Williams but saw little to no success. He later returned as Stone Cold Steve Austin with a completely different outlook impressing not
only the crowd but even his colleagues.
He has fought against some of the big names of the industry such as Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, The Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H and many others. Austin’s career has been one of the most enthralling one and he deserves to be inducted in the Hall of Fame.
The sooner it is the better it will be.
