Stoners....?

Does anyone else agree that weed make you realize whats important in life? every single stoner ive met are the most open minded, warm hearted people. i just dont get why its illegal.

It's an illusion friend! I've heard the same sentiment from junkies and crack-heads and even alcoholics. Nature created us to get by just fine without "enhancers". That said, the use of hallucinogenics have been touted by various cultures as being "mind and spirit openers".  However, many a fine and sensitive mind has found enlightenment without the use of any drugs or agents.

The ones that I know aren't all quite like that.They have lost the complete concept on life,they are miserable with their lives but they have to stay where they are because they might have to take a drug screen!! Or they have to find a way to pass it.Isn't worth it to them so they are going to stay in misery and stuck in life just to smoke weed?? That's a little close minded if you ask me,they don't understand why I would give it up to go to school they tell me I can go to school and still smoke it.I'm going for Paralegal Secretary,I think that would be kind of wrong they don't see a problem!! But the reason it was made illegal was to stop the production of machine guns in I think it was the 40's or 50's

why are you guys even trying to answer this question? don't listen to them, dude, they're just a******s. some of the most intellegent people i've ever met are stoners. and you're right, they are, for the most part, open minded and warm hearted.

look at it this way. they at least had to be a little open minded to even hit that first bowl/joint, and once they got absorbed into the stoner enviroment, that open mindedness flourished, and with openmindedness comes warm heartedness.  

and besides, it's almost impossible to be a pissed off a*****e after you've smoked. have you ever been able to stay pissed after getting high? it helps you think things out, because your brain pattern is going off in different directions.
