  1. Sr is 2+ and SO4 is 2- so strontium sulphate is SrSO4


  2. All divalent cations (eg have a positive charge) have the same sort of formula for the sulphate. ie MSO4 (M is the metal)

    So SrSO4 CaSO4  CuSO4 ZnSO4 NiSO4 CoSO4 and so on.
