Stop Seperation Anxiety in my JackRussell??

Question

My adopted Jack Russell X male, desexed..

he batks alot when left alone, even for 5 mintues!!

i take him for a walk, and drop by the library for 5 mintues, and tie him next to a tree or something and he barks his head offf T^T

and when i want to buy something in the shops, i tie him next to a pole and he howls..=S

how can i stop it??

he barks and whines and whimpers and howls..

and i muzzle him, but it ain't work, he can still howl.

I think that you supposed to ignore it...Well, at least that's what I heard. If you keep going back to him he'll learn that howling is a way to get attention. When you go back to him after shopping just pick up the lead and walk. If he doesn't bark when you're away, then praise him and then get his lead and carry on his walk.

Well if you don't want to get noticed then practice at home.

When he barks, don't fret at him, but command in a strong and firm voice "NO BARKING!"
