Question:

Stop being weird?

I notice when people are around me and they talk about something i might make a comment like "yeah" and its like they dont notice i say anything. so sometimes when i feel left out i make myself the center of attention and say yeah!, one time... and people will be like what? or that sucks or something like that. maybe i just want attention but how do i stop feeling left out and control myself so people will want to talk to me more and include me on the conversation.

  1. Go to the doctor and tell him/her you have social anxiety.  They will probably prescribe zanax or something like it.  

    Don't abuse it!!

    You probably are a very likeable person when you calm down and stop worrying about what everyone is thinking about you.  It seems your anxiety about social situations is what is making you awkward.  After a while of feeling relaxed in social situations you will probably get over the feeling you are describing.


  2. thats a tuffy, but not uncommon. my advise would be is to try to have a conversation with just one person and not a group. that one person is more likely to respond and then others will join in.
