  1. umm...not familiar with that area but i know that would effect the wildlife. Any animals in the area would be forced to live in a smaller area and may have more difficulty adapting.

  2. I'm not familiar with the area, but it is documented that the presence of open space boosts home values and health.

  3. Well for each property you are looking at 2 more cars on the local roads.

    More cars = more congestion

    more congestion = more pollution

more pollution = more health problems.

Schools will be more crowded and classes will be bigger therefore education standards will be lower. Shops will be busier, everywhere will be busier and waiting lists for doctors/hospitals will be longer.

police will be harder pushed coping with all the extra people this will mean crime could increase, the more crime you have in an area means the "nice citizens" will want to live elsewhere.. making more room for less nice citizens.. shop lifting and other petty crimes will push the shops out of town making the shopping area a ghost area and again increase the crime and drug problems in your town.

hope i've given you a few ideas to work with.

    good luck

  4. By destroying the plant life they decrease the amount of CO2 utilized to produce O2.

Trees also help to promote the natural rain cycle.

  5. What about the trees they are having to clear? Or other plants that are feeding and sheltering wildlife?

  6. http://www.toronto.ca/moraine/

    www.stormco.org

it is a unique geological feature that can not be replaced
