  1. my coach always tells me that if you're getting cramps that soon, you're either (a) not drinking enough water daily or (b) consuming too much sugar.  or both.

so lots of water, less candy.

  2. if you do you can stop eating before you run thats what i do!

  3. I get 'em too... O_O

  4. I experienced the kind of cramps you're having every time I run! My best suggestion would be to eat a lot of bananas, because they are high in pottasium, which can prevent cramps, so eat alot of things high in pottasium. Also drink alot of water, and no you being able to run a half a mile is not bad, especially if you have bad cramps, if you always run, then your endurance will slowly, but steadily increase, but it can differ form person to person. Just keep running and follow my tips!

  5. stretch      or live with it

  6. Hello,

Cramps are usually a result of 1 of 3 things:

    1.  Lack of Oxygen

    2.  Dehydration / Tight Muscles

    3.  Upset stomach

Proper stretching, gradual intensity, and drinking plenty of fluids should help you.  Check out the page below for more info.  Good luck!
