Stop motion k**b does not tighten

Question

The k**b keeps on giving vibrating sound but neither it moves nor the needle. I tried to remove the s***w , take out the small round part with bend at two places and projections at three. I cleaned the area and found a few strands stuck inside the rotating shaft. After removing them i tried to reassemble the parts opened but it does not work. I am unable to get the machine started. On pressing the foot , the whirring sound comes but nothing moves. Please help!
