Question:

Stop motion technique?

I want to make a stop motion video, and, for example, I want to appear as if I am flying.

Can I record myself going through a jumping motion normally, and then go back to the computer and pick the individual frames in which I am at my highest point, string them together, and make the video? (for those that don't know the flying effect requires one to jump, take a step foward, jump, take a step foward, etc., and take pictures of the jump's high points, thus making it seem like one is in the air for the duration of the video).

  1. yes! and you have answered your own question. that is totally doable. there has been a few youtube videos showing this style of play.

simply take the photos and strong them together in the editing timeline (after you have your shots chosen and in sequence)

don't forget to post it on youtube and send a link!
