Stop msn messenger from opening...?

everytime i log in msn messenger opens and starts signing in

how do i stop this automatic startup???

The bit where you sign in there is a few options,

Remember Me

Remember my password

Sign me in automatically,

Just unclick the box that says Sign me in automatically,

tools --> options--> general --> untick the boxes under sign in section

from messenger tools options and general and un select automatically run option

Go Tools>Options>General

and you have a list of things to check like 'allow automatic sign in' and 'start messenger on start up' or things like that, uncheck these.
