Stop over at Chennai?

Question

I will be travelling from Hyderabad to down south, and would be stopping over at Chennai. Can you suggest me a descent hotel near CMBT?

I will stop over at Chennai for 10 ~ 12 hrs with family.

It all depends upon the budget ...For a decent hotel to stay u can go to Residency Towers in T.Nagar, the heart of chennai for shopping...  Ucould also stay in Park Hotel ... which is located in Nungambakkam .. My suggestion is wherever u stay ,. .. don't stay in a lodge ..coz it won;t b good if u go wit a family ... here r a list of hotels which u could go 2 ..

Trident Hilton, Le Meridian, Taj Coromandel, .. or else a low budget hotel tat offers decency ..Hotel Ranjit .. in Nungambakkam ..
