I've heard that you can book a short break on a cruise ship whilst it's in Southampton docks. Do you know which company does this and any contact details?

  1. p&o will do it heres there link,http://www.pocruises.com/pocruising/Home... try bolsover cruise club and compare prices,we usually find bolsover to be a bit cheaper, were going round the med in sept and booked through thesehttp://www.bolsovercruiseclub.co.uk/defa...

  2. Royal Carribean International...Tel: 08000 182020.

I am sailing from Southampton on 25 August for 4 days to Ireland aboard the Navigator of the Seas.

  3. P+O does this mainly in the spring and Autumn.   Usually 2 nights (Fri/Sat) going to Bruge and Guernsey.  Ideal trial if you have not cruised before.

  4. I think you could be referring to the Sea Princess that was stuck in Southampton for 2 weeks as she fixed one of her propusion motors.

Although the initial cruisers mostly cancelled their cruises and went home, i belive Princess offered cheap 'cruises' for people to stay on the ship and use her amenities whilst she was in port getting repaired.

To be honst it is a no brainer for the company to do as the repairs being down are out of passenger areas, and the ship is fully crewed and doing nothing, so any money that can get back would be a bonus.

  5. You can go from Portsmouth to Bilbow in Spain for a two night package. Check P and O website
