Stop sign or white Line?

I was wondering, do you stop before the stop sign or before the white line while driving?

Before the white line and if not always before the sign.....

Before the white line. And just to be safe...stop so that you can see the line infront of your car, not under your car!

When there are no cops around I slow down and if there's no cars I go. If there are cars I stop till it's safe to go.

Before the white line if it exist.  If not then before the stop sign.
